VIGO

OLD CITY

Typical neighborhood from Vigo where we can find "Constitucion's Square", "Pricesa's Square", or the "Santa Maria's Concathedral".

Walking along his narrow cobbled streets, as "Calle de los Cesteros", where all his shops devote themselves to the manufacture of wicker articles. Or "la Piedra Square", where since many years ago the famous "oyster's ladies" prepare the oysters that we are going to eat, and later we will decide that to wich of the restaurants of the environment we want to go for tasting the exquisite delicacies of the galiciain cookery

CALLE DE LOS CESTEROS

MONTE DEL CASTRO

Placed in the center of the city, it offers us the possibility of enjoying his views from differents viewpoints, or to visit the rest of celtic settlements and the old fortress of the city.

MONTE DE LA GUIA

Reference in the entry of ships in the Vigo's estuary, this mounts is crowned by a small chapel, surrounded by a view from witch it is possible to observe all the estuary, the bridge of Rande, and the "galician fleet", as we call colloquialy to the breeding grounds of mussels that are in it.

ISLAS CIES

Beautiful nature reserve composed by three islands: "Isla de Monteagudo", "Isla Faro" and "Isla San Martin".

It is necessary to cross them be ready to enjoy all his sceneries, his beaches, where his thinnest sand and translucent water, which change from the intense green to the blue one, make us think about exotic scenaries

To rise to his two lighthouses, to the "Chair of the Queen", to the "Haig place of the bell"; to the observatory of birds; to deligth us in the "Lake of the Children", where the submarine world stays to our scope. To cross covered pine groves of ivy. To rise to the dunes or to discover small coves, with paradisiac and almost desert beaches.

It will make us happen an unforgattable day, and, when the night comes and we return in ship towards Vigo, we will be able to inmortalize the puttings suns as that of the photography, very, very frequent from many corners of this wonderful Galicia.
